Kunshan Bova Plastic Co., Ltd. was founded in Kunshan in 2008. In 2021, it established Suzhou Bosu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. as a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to the R&D of precision medical catheters.

The company supports customization based on provided drawings, samples, and materials, and mainly offers extrusion services for medical tubes as well as value-added post-processing services.

Adhering to the business philosophy of "Professionalism, Quality, Integrity, and Service" and upholding the principle of "Customer First", the company provides high-quality services to a large number of customers

Products are sold to Europe, America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Bova has 10,000 cleanroom covering an area of over 1,000㎡ and 100,000 cleanroom of over 2,000㎡.

Extruded Tubes

The materials of extruded tubes we can do includes TPU, PE, PEBAX, PVC, PEEK, PP, PC, PA, PPSU, FEP, EVA, TPE, POM, PSU, PLA, PCL, ABS, PTFE, and Silica.
In terms of extrusion shapes, the products include single-lumen tubes, multi-lumen tubes, multi-channel tubes, multi-color co-extruded tubes, multi-layer coated tubes, X-ray opaque catheters, thin-walled tubes, and microcatheters.

Value-Added Post-Processing Services

The value-added post-processing services include tip forming (tip tippered, end sealing, flaring, chamfering, necking), hole drilling, welding (reducing-diameter welding, different material welding), bending shaping, printing, and beveling.

Our core talent pool includes senior engineers specializing in polymer materials and experienced technicians with over 20 years of experience in the plastic precision extrusion industry. These individuals possess a solid foundation in materials science theory and extensive process experience. They have developed core competencies in optimizing medical catheter material formulations and precision extrusion process control (e.g., achieving an outer diameter accuracy of ±0.02mm and achieving ultra-thin wall thicknesses below 0.07mm).
Kunshan, where Bova is located, has actively promoted the integration of industry, academia, and research in recent years. For example, it has co-established the Future Industry Innovation Institute with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, encouraging companies to collaborate with universities on technological breakthroughs. Bova indirectly obtains cutting-edge technological support through participation in regional technology platforms or industry alliances.

In 2021, Bova established Suzhou Bosu Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary, to further focus on the R&D of precision medical catheters, demonstrating its strategic investment in the healthcare sector.
Technological Breakthroughs: Bova has mastered key technologies such as precision extrusion and post-processing value-added services (such as catheter surface treatment and tip tippered), enabling it to meet the stringent medical requirements for product biocompatibility, mechanical properties, and precision. The 100,000 cleanroom production facility and ISO 13485 quality system certification ensure the commercialization of its R&D results.
With advancements in medical technology, market demand for functional catheters (such as antimicrobial and sustained-drug release) and minimally invasive procedures continues to grow.
Bova will continue to increase its R&D investment and track cutting-edge technologies such as biodegradable materials and 3D printing to maintain its competitiveness.

This department is equipped with advanced testing equipment and experienced quality control personnel. Quality inspectors conduct testing in strict accordance with national medical device standards and international specifications, thoroughly examining the catheters for key indicators such as physical properties, chemical properties, and biocompatibility. This ensures that every product meets high-quality requirements, providing a solid foundation for product safety and effectiveness.
