Medical Grade PE Double Pigtail Drainage Tubes Made in China with ISO 13485
Introduction
Material:PE(Polyethylene)

Performance Advantages
Excellent Biocompatibility and Safety
Medical-grade Polyethylene (PE) material is non-toxic and non-sensitizing, complying with strict medical regulations (e.g., ISO 10993). It can be indwelled in the body for extended periods, minimizing tissue reaction.
Unique Double Pigtail Design
Both ends of the catheter are designed in a coiled pigtail structure. This design allows it to curl naturally within body cavities (e.g., renal pelvis, ureter), creating an anchoring effect that effectively prevents catheter migration or dislodgement.
Superior Flexibility and Trackability
PE material offers excellent flexibility, allowing the catheter to navigate through tortuous anatomical pathways easily during implantation, reducing tissue trauma.
High Surface Smoothness and Drainage Efficiency
The smooth inner and outer walls of the catheter facilitate easy implantation and ensure unimpeded flow of urine or fluids, effectively preventing sediment adhesion and reducing the risk of blockage.
Radiopacity
The catheter typically contains a radiopaque agent (e.g., barium sulfate), making it clearly visible under X-ray. This allows for accurate intraoperative positioning and postoperative verification of the catheter's location by physicians.
Good Chemical Stability
It can withstand long-term exposure to bodily fluids such as urine and bile without degradation or performance deterioration, ensuring stable long-term drainage.
Medical Applications
Urology:
Ureteral Stents: This is its primary application. Used to treat ureteral obstruction (e.g., from stones, tumor compression), establishing a drainage channel between the renal pelvis and the bladder to preserve kidney function; also routinely used after kidney stone surgeries (e.g., Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy PCNL, Ureteroscopy URL) to stent the ureter, prevent edema-related strictures, and facilitate the passage of fragments.
Hepatobiliary Surgery:
Biliary Drainage Catheters: Used to relieve biliary obstruction (e.g., caused by tumors, stones), draining bile into the duodenum or externally for preoperative jaundice relief or palliative care.
Other Applications:
Also used for percutaneous or endoscopic drainage of pancreatic pseudocysts and palliative treatment of certain cases of hydronephrosis.
